Instructions for Best Use:
- Do NOT screw the tee all the way down. The tee is at its lowest point when the bottom of the threaded component is flush with the flat surface of the base. There should be about a 1/2 an inch of threads showing when the tee is at its lowest point. This reduces the chance of striking the base and allows the club to swing through easier. It also increases the durability of the tee. Lastly, if you screw the tee all the way down with the bottom protruding past the flat surface of the base, this will push the mat up and create an uneven playing surface.
- When teeing up the ball higher, ensure the tee is not showing any signs of dislodging from the base. There is an anchoring system in place within the base but if it is showing signs of pushing up within the threaded receiving end of the base, push the tee back down and turn until you feel the threads catch again.
- Tee performs best in moderate temperatures.
- Regular Size Tee is designed for Woods and Drivers
- Oversized Tee is designed for Drivers and Oversized Drivers
Overview
We started test marketing our first adjustable height range tee in Fall 2007. While most golfers loved the tee, some were frustrated with the tee's durability. The tee's durability was contingent on several factors including swing speed, swing angle, club being used, etc. We took everyone's feedback to heart and hit the drawing board again in early 2008 to research and develop improvements for a stronger and more durable tee. The main issue was that there was too much friction or pull being exerted on the tee from the golf club eventually causing dislodgement of the tee from the base. In addition to making material modifications, we made simple design changes that would significantly lessen the friction at impact and prolong the life of the tee.
Features:
- Tee Head Design - re-shaped lower part of the tee head to a straight 45 degree angle so it allows the club to swing through more easily at impact reducing the "grab and pull" effect on the tee
- Base Design - rounded top of the base to minimize the club "sticking" at impact
- Anchoring System - added additional washer and shock absorber to the tee within the base
- Wider Tee Head - slightly wider tee head with felanges better supports the ball
